Recorder Courses

Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd May 2024 - Score Lines Recorder Consort Course at Cannington Court, Somerset

Monday 15th - Wednesday 17th July 2024 - Build your Technique and Consort Skills at West Dean College, near Chichester

After a two year break I’m back at West Dean with my easier course, aimed at those who wish to develop their technique and gain confidence in consort playing. Full information available here.

Monday 5th - Monday 12th August - The Recorder Summer School

A week of recorder playing with ten tutors at Bishop Burton College near Beverley, East Yorkshire. Bookings open soon so head here to join the mailing list and book.

Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th August - Summer Recorder Festival

An exciting weekend of music making at Dean Close School, Cheltenham, hosted by Recorders for All.

Come and play with the Hersom Consort

The Hersom Consort is an evening class I conduct, which takes place on Wednesday evenings near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Players of intermediate standard who can play at least two different sizes of recorder are welcome to join us. Further information and contact details for Jim Grant, our Chairman, can be found here.
